Opening Songs

It is my opinion that having a set structure for the kids to rely on is important in a successful storytime. Therefore, I start each storytime with the same song.

I almost always use Hi, Hello and Wake Up Feet at the beginning of tiny tots story time and Rickety Tickety and Hello Friends at the beginning of preschool storytime.  Here are a variety of others to use!

Hi, Hello

Hi, Hello and how are you, how are you, how are you?
Hi, Hello and how are you today?

Hello [insert kids name], how are you, how are you, how are you?Hello [name] how are you today?
(give each child a chance to tell you how they are that day)
